Extra Pay Assignments. When extra pay assignments are available (such as Saturday School and game workers) the building administration will solicit volunteers and rotate assignments while giving consideration to an interested employee’s skill and knowledge needed for the specific assignment. If an employee is not chosen to perform the extra duty assignment, he/she may request a reason from the supervising administrator. The administration reserves the right and has the final responsibility to fill the positions.
Extra Pay Assignments. All extra-pay assignments shall be approved with the individual on an annual basis and shall not be subject to the tenure laws of the State. Extra-pay assignments will be posted as vacancies as needs are determined by the Administration.

ASO recognized club advisors shall be compensated with a stipend of $1,250.00 per semester, with relevant job descriptions for the club advisors to be those set forth in the Associated Student Organization (ASO) Handbook. 7.6.2 Bargaining Unit Members assigned to coach within the intercollegiate athletic program shall receive additional compensation in accordance with the following provisions: 7.6.2.1 On-staff Head Coaches shall receive the following compensation: 7.6.2.1.1 The Coach shall be employed as an eleven (11) month employee in accordance with the provision of Article IV, sub-section 4.1.2. 7.6.2.1.2 The Coach shall be scheduled for a total of ten (10) hours, or 8 LHE of reassigned time, during the season of the sport. 7.6.2.2 Off-staff Head Coaches shall be compensated at an amount equal to twenty-two percent (22%) of the annual salary of Class I, Step III of the contract employee salary schedule. 7.6.2.3.1 The Coach shall be compensated at an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the annual salary of Class I, Step III of the contract employee salary schedule. On-staff Assistant Coaches shall receive the following release time during the semester of assignment: Football - six (6) hours (4.8 LHE); all other sports - four (4) hours (3.2 LHE).
Extra Pay Assignments. 11.3.1 Extra pay assignments and rate of pay for such assignments are set forth in Exhibit E of this Agreement. 11.3.2 Extra pay assignment vacancies shall be advertised within the District and qualified employees may apply. 11.3.3 Stipends will be prorated accordingly if the individuals filling such assignments are unable to complete the assignments. 11.3.4 Nothing herein shall be construed to provide extra pay for assignments other than those specified in Exhibit E.

The department shall attempt to equalize Extra Pay and mandatory Holdover to the extent practicable. The selection of certified and/or individuals who possess specialty qualification(s) may be required and shall be allowed. The Fire Chief shall determine the method(s) for administering Extra Pay and mandatory Holdover provided that methods used shall be in compliance with the requirements herein. Upon ratification of this agreement, the department shall have up to 90 days to implement the methodology for Extra Pay and mandatory Holdover administration contained herein. During the implementation period, all practices and procedures currently in effect shall be maintained. Extra Pay work shall be defined as that time worked by an employee in addition to the employees regularly scheduled hours where the employee is assigned through the TeleStaff Sign-up list and Mandatory Holdover list for staffing of response units (seat pay; for staffing of special events units, and shall be compensated at the overtime rate as defined in Article 9 Section 4. All other hours worked shall be compensated in accordance with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act. A. Extra Pay Signup 1. Employees shall be responsible for signing up for Extra Pay eligibility on the specific days they elect to work Extra Pay. Employees may sign up to work only from 0800-2000; or only from 2000-0800; or both time periods. Employees may modify their sign-up to include a specific time-frame. Employees will only be considered for Extra Pay vacancies that span the time frame included in the sign-up. Sign-up access shall be available at each fire station, through the TeleStaff program. 2. Personnel may sign-up, or remove a sign-up, at any time prior to the filling of Extra Pay vacancies. The department may begin filling Extra Pay vacancies as the vacancies become known Extra Pay Vacancies in a three-shift work cycle ("Trick") may be filled anytime after the start of the three-shift work cycle that immediately precedes the work cycle where the vacancies exist. 3. Extra Pay Assignments. Extra-pay assignments are those conducted outside of the professional staff member’s contractual school day or contractual school year. These assignments shall not be obligatory but offered only to those professional staff members who are willing to assume the responsibility. Extra-pay assignments are ordinarily offered to those professional staff members who have exhibited an interest in and demonstrated the ability to conduct them. All supplemental contracts are for one year ONLY, therefore, each supplemental will be posted annually in order to generate interest.

They are awarded in lieu of and cannot be combined with reassigned time already offered for completion of the same project.
Extra Pay Assignments. 19.1 Staff members who perform the duties noted in 19.1 for district will earn extra pay. These extra pay assignments will be computed as a percentage of the base salary (Column A, Step One). To receive this stipend the employee must meet the hourly requirements outside of the normal workday and any other requirements noted herein. Drama Director (minimum of 2 shows per year) ii. High School WASC Coordinator (in the year preceding a WASC visit and in a WASC visit year) 19.1.4 Range D assignments shall receive 6% stipend computed by the base salary, require an hourly commitment of 175 hours, and includes the following positions: 19.1.5 Range E assignments shall receive 5.5% stipend computed by the base salary, require an hourly commitment of 150 hours, and includes the following positions: i. Middle School Activities Director ii. Middle School Athletic Director 19.1.6 Range F assignments shall receive 5% stipend computed by the base salary, require an hourly commitment of 125 hours, and includes the following positions: i. HOSA Pathway ii. FFA Advisor 19.1.7 Range G assignments shall receive 4% stipend computed by the base salary, require an hourly commitment of 100 hours, and includes the following positions: i. Band Director (at least 2 performances per year) ii. Strings Director (at least 2 performances per year) iii. Vocal Music Director (at least 2 performances per year) iv. High School Newspaper Advisor (a monthly newspaper must be produced/distributed) v. High School Yearbook Advisor (a yearbook must be produced and distributed) vi. Lead Teachers
