Common use of EXTENSION OF THE SEASON Clause in Contracts

EXTENSION OF THE SEASON. Licensee may request to extend the Period of Operation on a monthly basis either prior to the start of the Period of Operation and/or after October 31st. All requests shall be submitted to both the Office of Leases & Concessions and the Area Superintendent, in writing, at the addresses set forth in Subparagraph 4(B) and Paragraph 45, respectively, thirty (30) calendar days in advance of the proposed implementation, or on or before August 15th of the year prior to the year being sought for an extension as set forth in Subparagraph 2(B). Approval of this request shall be within Department’s sole discretion. Licensee shall be deemed to not have permission to extend the Period of Operation without written approval from the Office of Leases & Concessions and the Area Superintendent.
