Extended Eligibility. At the employee’s expense, the employee may obtain health, dental and vision coverage as provided by the carrier at a group rate after resigning or retiring from the District pursuant to federal legislation (known as COBRA).

Extended Eligibility. An eligible dependent or spouse who began the remission program prior to the death, retirement, or permanent disability of the faculty member shall have four (4) years of eligibility after the event.
