Common use of EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS Clause in Contracts

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Ameritas or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Ameritas or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV III of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Southland or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Southland or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company National Life or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company National Life or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company First Variable or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company First Variable or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Principal or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Principal or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Prudential or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners Owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Prudential or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Insurance Companies or its their affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners Owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Insurance Companies or its their affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

EXPENSE ALLOCATIONS. Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article IV of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Sage or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Sage or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.

Subject to Section III hereof, and the provisions of Article Articles IV and V of the Fund Participation Agreement, the Company Cova or its affiliates shall initially bear the costs of the following: a) printing and distributing all Fund Materials to be distributed to prospective Contract owners except as may otherwise be provided in the Fund Participation Agreement; b) printing and distributing all sales literature or promotional material developed by the Company Cova or its affiliates and relating to the Contracts; c) servicing Contract Owners who have allocated Contract value to a Portfolio, which servicing shall include, but is not limited to, the items listed in Paragraph I of this Agreement.
