Existing Capability. The contractor shall maintain all current capabilities of the existing test stand. Modes of Operation The developed test system shall be capable of testing in both manual and automatic modes. The operator shall be able to select the mode of operation. 3.2.1. Manual Testing Operation of the test stand in manual mode shall be possible by selectable menu option in the DACS. The manual mode shall allow full control of all test stand functions with complete monitoring of all critical parameters to provide automatic shutdown due to operating limits being exceeded. At any time during automatic testing the operator shall have the ability to interrupt the automatic test sequence and switch to the manual mode. Transfer between manual and automatic modes shall be seemless and bumpless. Once the manual mode is invoked, the only automatic operation possible is stand shutdown due to critical stand parameter operating limits being exceeded. All alarm functions and shutdowns routines shall operate in the manual mode.
