Automatic Testing. The system shall be capable of automatic testing of the components listed in 3.1. 1. The contractor shall develop and implement a Data Acquisition and Control System (DACS) that shall fully control gearbox testing. This includes data collection and test stand operation (for example, Speed/Torque/Oil Temp/Time Intervals) to automatically, and without user intervention, achieve: a) The test points required in 3.1.1 including required temperature UUT soak times b) Safe and controllable ramp rates c) Continuous UUT, commercial gearbox, and test cell parameters monitoring and recording d) Alarming and safe automatic shutdown upon a safety excursion.
