Example Project Sample Clauses
Example Project. For information purposes, an example project is set forth below to provide a better understanding of the type of work expected to be used to prepare a cost estimate. This example project is a master redevelopment plan for a ¼ mile radius around a SunRail station.
Task 1: Infrastructure Assessment – The Contractor will evaluate existing infrastructure serving the study area and define constraints to redevelopment. The Contractor will obtain base information from the City of Orlando, Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), TECO or other public utility providers. Construction Cost information will be generated for relocation, demolition, grading, storm water management, utilities and roadway capacity improvements required to support the proposed transit-oriented development scenario. The Master Plan will incorporate an infrastructure report identifying constraints, estimated improvement costs and environmental impacts. Project and cost options will be tabulated in a format to allow the City to select or delete optional items.
Task 2: Market Analysis – The Contractor will evaluate market opportunities in and around the study area for the following general land uses: sports, education, entertainment, residential, retail, office, hotel, light industrial, park, parking and other community use activities. Task 3: Transportation Analysis – The Contractor will review traffic and transportation related issues in and around the study area. This analysis will examine current and future year circulation to/from and within the study area, including transit, bicycle and pedestrian opportunities. Transportation services that support use of transit shall also be considered and may include car sharing, bicycle sharing, or bicycle stations. Task 4: Master Plan – The Contractor will produce a Master Plan for the study area. The plan will synthesize input and evaluation into a viable and transit-oriented development scenario for the study area. Graphic renderings and diagrams will illustrate the overall planning and design concepts. An action plan will outline the steps and initiatives necessary for implementation of the ideas and concepts of the plan. The plan will respond to the goal of encouraging use of transit through coordinated land use planning.
1. Printed color report and one (1) digital copy of the report in a digital format specified by the City.
2. Master Plan boards including land use plan drawing, street level concept vision renderings, surrounding site redevelopment,...
Example Project. For illustration purposes, we use the functional requirements of project Restmarks (Project Restmarks, 2014). Restmarks is a social network where each user can share his internet bookmarks. Additionaly, the user can add informative tag to his/her bookmarks, create, modify, or delete existing bookmarks and search for his/her private bookmarks and/or public bookmarks of other users. The functional requirements of Restmarks are given in Figure 6.
