Evening Conference. Two evening conferences and one (1) day conference shall be scheduled at each elementary and middle school building. Two evening conferences shall be scheduled at the high school building. One release day will be scheduled by the Board as part of the district calendar as release time for the evening conferences. The date of the release day will be determined prior to the development of the district calendar by vote of the entire teaching staff. The Faculty Advisory Council in each building shall submit by February 15th one proposed date for the release day. All dates submitted by the buildings shall be included on the ballot.
Evening Conference. Each teacher shall be obligated for one evening conference per year of no longer than two and one-half (2 ½) hours. This shall be in addition to the current "Open School Night." Notwithstanding the foregoing, each building principal, in lieu of the evening conference or Open School Night, may choose to use one of these nights for staff development which shall occur after regular school hours which may include any of the items consistent with Article 10 D (Professional Period). Teachers shall not be required to work with students at this time. Attendance of all building personnel shall be required.

Two (2) comp days will be scheduled by the Board as part of the district calendar as comp time for the evening conferences and open house. The date of the comp day will be determined prior to the development of the district calendar by vote of the entire teaching staff. The Faculty Advisory Council in each building shall submit by February 15th the proposed dates for the release day. All dates submitted by the buildings shall be included on the ballot.
