Common use of Evening and Night Shift Notice Clause in Contracts

Evening and Night Shift Notice. For an employee who regularly works on the evening or night work shift, the notice from the employee who is going to be absent must be given to the immediate supervisor/designee one (1) hour before the start of the employee’s regular work shift or as soon as the employee is aware he or she will not be able to come to work. The employee’s immediate supervisor will provide the employee with the appropriate telephone number(s) for giving such notice.
