Evaluation During Probation. 52.5.1 During probation the evaluator shall formally meet with the probationary employee at least twice a month to give feedback, direct action steps for improvement and make a written evaluation of the progress, if any, made by the employee. 52.5.2 The probationary employee may request that an additional certificated evaluator become part of the probationary process and the request must be granted. This evaluator may be assigned by the Education Service District (ESD) and will be jointly selected by the District and the Association from a list of evaluation specialists compiled by the ESD. 52.5.3 Separate from this second evaluator the Association may appoint additional experts of their own choosing to observe and evaluate the probationary employee’s performance.
