Common use of Escort Services Clause in Contracts

Escort Services. Expenses for a family member or companion who is traveling with the Eligible Person to join the Eligible Person during the Eligible Person’s emergency medical evacuation to a different hospital, treatment facility or the Eligible Person’s place of permanent residence will be paid. The Maximum Benefit Amount is 100% of the covered expenses (described above) up to $500,000 per Eligible Person per trip. AXA Assistance USA must make all arrangements and must authorize all expenses in advance for any transportation expenses to be payable. AXA Assistance USA reserves the right to determine whether the expense is payable, including reductions, if it is not reasonably possible to contact AXA Assistance USA in advance.
