Common use of Erosion and Silting Control Clause in Contracts

Erosion and Silting Control. The Developer must take all necessary precautions to prevent erosion and sedimentation of sewers, ditches, culverts, slopes, etc., both within the Development and downstream during construction and completion of servicing. Failing adequate precautions being taken, the Developer will be responsible for correcting any damages and paying all maintenance costs resulting therefrom.
