EQUALS. The Professional shall promptly and in accordance with all Project schedule requirements, review and approve, reject or take other appropriate action on proposed substitutions or “equal materials or equipment”. The Professional shall not approve any such proposed equal materials or equipment unless such equals conform to (i) the Project design concept; (ii) the Construction Documents; (iii) the Contracts for Construction; and (iv) the Owner’s Approved Construction Budget.
