Equal Rights. The parties to this Agreement jointly pledge that provisions of this Agreement shall be applied uniformly to all members of the bargaining unit without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, handicap or disability, or sexual orientation, as defined by the American with Disabilities Act.

Equal Rights. In recognition of the “equal rights” laws for both sexes, and in recognition of the fact women are becoming more involved in construction, any masculine pronoun or any reference in masculine gender herein shall be construed to include either male or female. This Agree- ment acknowledges the opportunities and rights of qualified women and men alike to function in crew and supervision positions of the trade.
Equal Rights. Employees shall continue to enjoy equal rights under this Agreement regardless of sex, CFTO-TV CTV SPECIALTY 19 sexual orientation, colour, racial, ethnic, national origin, marital status, family status, disability, age, religious or political affiliation as defined under the Canadian Human Rights Act. The Union and the employer are committed to employment equity. To this end an ‘Employment Equity Advisory Committee’ will be formed with one union-appointed member. The mandate of the Committee will be to examine Company policies, practices and procedures to identify areas of systemic discrimination and to recommend an action plan for removal of such barriers. The Committee shall meet on a regular basis (i.e. quarterly) with no loss of pay incurred to its members.

Equal Rights. Notwithstanding anything contained herein, if the terms, conditions, representations and warranties, covenants and provisions taken as a whole contained in any other stock purchase documents executed by the Company in connection the sale of ten percent or less of the Company's outstanding voting securities at the time of such purchase ("Other Purchase Documents") entered into prior to the date hereof (unless disclosed in the SEC Documents filed on or prior to March 17, 2000 or disclosed in full to the Investor prior to the Closing) or entered into on or after the date hereof and before September 30, 2000, then this Agreement shall be deemed to contain the terms, conditions, representations and warranties, covenants and provisions contained in such Other Purchase Documents.
