Engine Borescope Inspection Clause Samples
The Engine Borescope Inspection clause establishes the requirements and procedures for inspecting an aircraft engine's internal components using a borescope. Typically, this clause outlines when such inspections must be performed—such as after certain flight hours, specific events, or prior to a sale or lease return—and details the party responsible for conducting and paying for the inspection. Its core function is to ensure the engine's internal condition is thoroughly assessed without disassembly, thereby identifying potential issues early and protecting both parties from unexpected maintenance costs or disputes over engine condition.
