Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building Design. All Project buildings shall promote sustainable and energy efficient practices through compliance with California Code of Regulations, Title 24. In addition, the Project shall be designed to meet the standards for LEED Silver Certified buildings (or equivalent techniques or designs used for the purpose of reduction of energy use as approved by the Director in writing) and Developer shall use commercially reasonable efforts to exceed such standards.
