Common use of Encryption on Portable Computing Devices Clause in Contracts

Encryption on Portable Computing Devices. The Contractor is required to encrypt (or use an equally effective measure) any data collected under this Agreement that is confidential, sensitive, and/or personal including data stored on portable computing devices (including, but not limited to, laptops, personal digital assistants, and notebook computers) and /or portable electronic storage media (including, but not limited to, discs and thumb/flash drives, portable hard drives).
