Employee Contact. Reflects only those contacts which either improve or reduce effectiveness of the employees involved. It does not apply to an employee’s personal popularity or lack of it. Does the employee mind their own business but at the same time have a proper concern for the problems of other employees whose jobs touch theirs? Is the employee a disruptive influence? Does the employee bother or embarrass others with personal problems? Is the employee a positive influence on the morale of others?

Employee Contact. Subject to prior approval of the appointing authority or designee, Teamsters authorized representatives and Teamsters stewards are permitted to meet with a represented employee during the employee's work hours on matters within the scope of representation. With the prior approval of the appointing authority or designee, investigation of grievances or pre-disciplinary investigations may be conducted on an employee's work time. Such meetings shall be held in non-public work areas, except that a Teamsters staff member or xxxxxxx may observe work taking place in public work areas. Requests to meet for the above purposes shall not be consistently or unreasonably denied.

Seller acknowledges that the Employees may be requested to travel to other branches of Purchaser for such training and Seller agrees to cooperate with Purchaser in regard to such training and to encourage the Employees to also cooperate in such training programs. Seller will also provide the officers and authorized representatives of Purchaser an opportunity to meet with Seller’s employees who have technical and operational expertise with respect to the operations of the Branch for purposes of such 36 employees providing technical or operational assistance to Purchaser prior to the Closing Date.

Employee Contact. The Representative(s) of the Union shall have the right to contact the employees at their place of employment on matters respecting the Agreement or its administration. The Union Representative(s) will obtain authorization from the Employer as to appropriate time for such contact before meeting the employee.
