Common use of EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISIONS Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISIONS. In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the City, including but not limited to, such as acts of God, fire, flood, insurrection, civil disorder, national emergency, or similar circumstances, as determined by Police Management the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding which restrict the City's ability to respond to these emergencies shall be suspended for the duration or such emergency. After the emergency is over, the Association shall have the right to meet with the City regarding the impact on unit employees of the suspension of these provisions in this Memorandum of Understanding.
