Elementary Prep Stipend Clause Samples

The Elementary Prep Stipend clause establishes a specific payment or allowance provided to elementary school teachers for time spent preparing lessons or materials outside of regular teaching hours. Typically, this stipend is given in addition to base salary and is intended to compensate for the extra work required to plan curriculum, grade assignments, or attend preparatory meetings. By formalizing this compensation, the clause ensures teachers are fairly remunerated for their preparatory efforts, addressing the issue of unpaid labor and promoting equity in workload management.
