Electronic Versions Clause Samples
The 'Electronic Versions' clause establishes the terms under which electronic copies of documents are considered valid and enforceable. Typically, this clause clarifies that digital versions, such as PDFs or scanned copies, are legally equivalent to original paper documents and may be used for signatures, record-keeping, or official communications. Its core function is to facilitate efficient and convenient document handling in modern transactions, reducing reliance on physical paperwork and ensuring that electronic records are recognized as binding.
Electronic Versions. 3.1 You may not make or use on a hand held device or via a web based platform an electronic version of the Questionnaire, an electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment (an “eCOA”), except in accordance with the following conditions:
3.1.1 You must first obtain our written permission;
3.1.2 The eCOA must be created and implemented strictly in accordance with following our document: “Guide to ePRO Development” a copy of which is available on request;
3.1.3 If the eCOA is web based then all users of the eCOA shall be subject to a registration system that controls and monitors use in accordance with procedures approved by us;
3.1.4 You will make no claim to the copyright in the electronic version of the Questionnaire and will on request assign the copyright in the eCOA version of the Questionnaire free of any third party claims.

Electronic Versions. Licensee shall be permitted to use MACRO Map in an electronic format or as an addition to an existing tool. Licensee shall make sure that MACRO Map is correctly and clearly named, acknowledged and the MACRO Map is in as prominent position as any other logo.
Electronic Versions. Licensee shall be permitted to use ASCOT in an electronic format or as an addition to an existing tool. Licensee will ensure no Modifications are made to ASCOT in doing so. Licensee shall make sure that ASCOT is correctly and clearly named, acknowledged and the ASCOT logo is in as prominent position as any other logo.
Electronic Versions. The Parties agree that a validly executed email copy of the Agreement or part thereof is accepted as a valid original.
