Effects. If the Agency rejects costs at the payment of the balance, it will deduct them from the total eligible costs declared, for the action, in the financial statement (see Article 20.4). It will then calculate the payment of the balance as set out in Article 21.4. If the Agency rejects costs after the payment of the balance, it will deduct the amount rejected from the total eligible costs declared, in the financial statement. It will then calculate the revised final grant amount as set out in Article 5.4.
