Effect of Expiration and Termination. 17.9.1 Except where explicitly provided within this Agreement, termination of this Agreement for any reason, or expiration of this Agreement, will not affect any: (a) obligations, including payment of any royalties or other sums which have accrued as of the date of termination or expiration, and (b) rights and obligations which, from the context thereof, are intended to survive termination or expiration of this Agreement, including provisions of Articles 1, 13, 14, 15, 18 (as to actions arising during the term of this Agreement or in the course of a Party practicing any licenses retained by such Party thereafter), 22 and 23, Sections 5.7, 11.3 and 17.9 and any payment obligations pursuant to Article 10 and 11 incurred prior to termination.
