EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT LEAVE. Effective July 1, 2015 the Board approved the Educational Support Leave policy for University System of Georgia employees. The full text of BOR Policy 8.2.7, Leave can be accessed at the following link: ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇▇/policymanual/section8/C224/#p8.2.7_leave The Policy provides that each full-time, non-temporary employee of the State of Georgia or of any board, branch, department, bureau or commission thereof shall be entitled to apply for up to eight hours of paid leave per calendar year for the purpose of promoting education in this state. Under this new law, paid leave will only be authorized for activities that are directly related to student achievement and academic support. Use of such leave for political purposes or agendas is prohibited. The revised policy reflects this change in state law. Activities that promote education in Georgia may include, but are not limited to, some of the following: Each USG institution or office maintains the authority to determine, in accordance with the provisions outlined in this policy, whether an activity would qualify for education support leave.   • Operational Support Systems 14.1 BellSouth has developed and made available electronic interfaces by which Unity Acquisition may submit LSRs electronically. 14.2 LSRs submitted by means of one of these electronic interfaces will incur an OSS electronic ordering charge. An individual LSR will be identified for billing purposes by its Purchase Order Number (PON). LSRs submitted by means other than one of these interactive interfaces (mail, fax, courier, etc.) will incur a manual order charge. All OSS charges are specified in Exhibit A of this Attachment.

  • Operational Support 2.1 Party A agrees, according to the operational needs of Party B, to act as the guarantor of Party B in the contracts, agreements, or transactions entered into between Party B and third parties, in order to fully guarantee the performance by Party B of such contracts, agreements, and transactions. 2.2 Party A agrees, according to the operational needs Party B, to recommend directors and senior management to Party B and Party B agrees to appoint such personnel recommended by Party A to be its directors and senior management. The relevant personnel recommended by Party A pursuant to this Article shall meet the qualification requirements for directors and senior management under applicable laws. 2.3 To ensure the performance of this Agreement, Party A agrees to provide to Party B cooperative policy advice and guidance, which is consistent with the daily operation and financial management and the employment policy of Party B.

  • Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.

  • Educational Leave of Absence Leaves of absence may be granted up to six (6) months under the above provisions only if the course would be beneficial to both the University and the employee.
