Economic Development Programs. The City and Invest Atlanta hereby agree that the Economic Development Services shall include, without limitation: (i) creating, promoting, coordinating, managing, administrating and implementing the programs listed below; (ii) serving in part as contact for and coordinator with various City agencies, community and civic groups, and other stakeholders interested in the economic development, revitalization and growth of the City; (iii) providing general marketing services relating to the numerous program incentives and opportunities available to domestic and international businesses seeking to relocate to, remain, or expand in the City; (iv) planning and implementing strategies focusing on creating, attracting, and retaining domestic and international businesses within the City; (v) small business development, promotion of women’s entrepreneurship, fostering creative industries retention and expansion, and curating innovation and entrepreneurship programs within the City; (vi) small and micro business financing options focused on non-traditional business models (including but not limited to crowd sourcing programs i.e. KIVA ) and (vii) small business programs responsive to pandemic and other emergency conditions, (viii) such other economic development activities as the parties may reasonably agree for the term of this Agreement. Xxxx Subsidies – Recent Graduates and Members of an LMA Priority Group In an effort to assist non-EI eligible clients who are unemployed and individuals who may be experiencing the effects of the economic downturn secure full time sustainable employment within the private sector, the province through the LMA, will provide wage subsidies to businesses with a priority on the bioscience, information technology, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors. A wage subsidy of up to 26 weeks at 50% of eligible wage costs will be utilized to assist clients make a successful transition to meaningful employment related to their education and training.

  • Develop programs 1) The Employer will develop and implement health promotion and health education programs, subject to the availability of resources. Each Appointing Authority will develop a health promotion and health education program consistent with the Minnesota Management & Budget policy. Upon request of any exclusive representative in an agency, the Appointing Authority shall jointly meet and confer with the exclusive representative(s) and may include other interested exclusive representatives. Agenda items shall include but are not limited to smoking cessation, weight loss, stress management, health education/self-care, and education on related benefits provided through the health plan administrators serving state employees.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Professional Development Plan Professional Development Plan (PDP) refers to plans developed by faculty members addressing the criteria contained in Article 22 and Appendix G.

  • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas. The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.
