Duties of Business Associate Upon Termination of the Agreement. 1. When the Agreement is terminated, the PHI and PII that the Business Associate received from, created, or received on behalf of the County shall, at the Business Associate’s sole expense, be returned to the County with any copies and/or duplicates thereof destroyed. This mandate includes all PHI and PII in the possession of the Business Associate's subcontractors and/or agents.
