Common use of Duration and Amendment Clause in Contracts

Duration and Amendment. This Agreement shall remain in effect for the remainder of the current calendar year and shall thereafter be automatically extended for successive one-year terms. Either party, however, by sixty days prior written notice to the other, may terminate this Agreement unless the receiving party agrees to a shorter notice period. This Agreement may be amended or modified at any time and from time to time by an instrument executed by the parties.
