Dues Deduction Authorized. (1) Upon written authorization from the employee, the District will deduct from the pay of the employee the monthly amount of dues certified by the Association. The District shall deliver the dues to the treasurer of the exclusive representative. The Union as exclusive representative of all employees will represent such persons fairly, whether members or not. Membership shall be made available to all who apply, consistent with the Union constitution and policies. (2) The Association agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the School District, the Board, each individual Board member and all administrators against any and all claims, suits, or other forms of liability, and all court costs arising out of the provisions of this Agreement between the parties for dues and fee deduction.
