Common use of DRUG DETECTION AND DETERRENCE Clause in Contracts

DRUG DETECTION AND DETERRENCE. 11.5.1 It is the policy of the City to achieve a drug-free workforce and to provide a workplace that is free from the use of illegal drugs and alcohol. The manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or alcohol by contractors while on City Premises is prohibited. By executing this Agreement, Parking Operator represents and certifies that it meets and shall comply with all the requirements and procedures set forth in the Mayor's Policy on Drug Detection and Deterrence, City Council Motion No. 92-1971 (“Mayor's Policy”) and the Mayor's Drug Detection and Deterrence Procedures for Contractors, Executive Order No. 1-31 (“Executive Order”), both of which are on file in the City Secretary’s Office. For purposes of this Section, Parking Operator shall be referred to as “Contractor” in the attached exhibits.
