Driver Qualification Standards. A. All newly hired bargaining unit employees shall enroll in, and successfully complete, the next available Employer-approved and provided drivers’ training program conducted following their date of hire, and qualify for certification as an Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO). B. All employees who may be required to drive an Employer vehicle as part of their job duties must continuously maintain the following standards as evidenced by their comprehensive DMV driving record and/or the Employer’s incident records, or shall be subject to discharge. Qualifications shall include the following: 1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; 2. Hold a current and valid California driver’s license; 3. Successfully pass the Company approved driver training program; 4. Meet the requirements as outlined in the Employer’s Driver Performance Standards and MVR Check Policy, (FN-08 dated December 1, 2011), with the following clarification: The parties acknowledge, however, that any corrective action/discipline issued under this policy will be reviewable under the provisions of this Agreement.
