Downgraded Classification Changes. In the event a position is downgraded, the unit member shall be “Y”-rated. (Y- rating provides that when a position(s) is downgraded to a lower salary amount, the unit member(s) will continue at their former rate until future salary adjustments provide a salary increase to the level of the former salary.)
