Double Dipping. A competency shall not be paid for twice. For example, where a first-aid allowance is provided, people may not use the relevant competency for reclassification purposes. Likewise, if people receive a leading-hand allowance, they may not claim any management or supervisory competencies for reclassification. Appropriate allowances will be retained where a similar competency has not been claimed for reclassification.
