DOR Clause Samples

The DOR (Date of Receipt) clause establishes the specific date on which a document, notice, or item is considered officially received by a party. In practice, this clause clarifies how and when delivery is deemed effective, such as upon physical delivery, electronic transmission, or another agreed method. By defining the moment of receipt, the DOR clause ensures clarity in triggering deadlines, obligations, or rights that depend on the timing of receipt, thereby reducing disputes over when communications or documents are considered delivered.
DOR. Develop an Individual Plan for Employment (IPE) based on the information gathered during the PCP process. Evaluate data provided by the LEA and or IRC to determine CIE readiness and appropriate employment services. Placement in a business with needed supports for CIE ready students and refer to community rehabilitation programs for additional assessment and or training as appropriate. Ongoing collaboration with the Workforce Development Board to identify possible employers.
DOR. For individuals who are also clients of SDRC, a copy of their current Individualized Program Plan (IPP) and current Consumer Diagnostic Evaluation Report (CDER) will be sent to the DOR counselor by the individual’s SDRC Service Coordinator. If the individual, during the Intake meeting process, expresses interest in and potential to achieve Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE), a DOR case will be opened and an IPE will be developed. A copy of the IPE will be shared with SDRC. If the individual is determined not to be ready for a CIE outcome, after completing a Trial Work Experience (TWE), the case is closed (other than rehabilitated), and the client may choose to follow a pathway into subminimum wage or another outcome. In this case, the process would follow the flow chart developed by DOR (see Appendix - Forms).
