Donating Days. The Partnership should create a mechanism for employees to voluntarily donate some earned time off, vacation or life-balance days to employees in need. In addition, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Permanente will establish a recognition week celebrating the founders of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Permanente, and a Memorial Day tribute to recognize and honor deceased employees on the Friday before Memorial Day.
Donating Days i. An employee may donate, on a voluntary basis, to the sick leave bank a maximum of five (5) days on or before August 20, each year.
ii. Once sick leave has been donated to the sick leave bank, it cannot be restored to the individual.
iii. Professional Employee may not designate a particular employee to receive their donated time.
iv. Professional Employee who use sick leave days from the bank are not required to pay them back.
