Common use of Doctor Statement Clause in Contracts

Doctor Statement. An Employee utilizing a doctor's statement to excuse his absence must furnish it to local management on his first day back to work. Upon receipt of the doctor's statement on the Employee’s first day back, if the Employee has not utilized his allowable number of doctor’s statements under Paragraph C. above, the absence shall be excused. If the contents of the doctor’s statement do not meet the requirements as outlined in Section 1, Paragraph C, Sub-Paragraph 3 of this Article, the Employee will have one (1) working day to correct any discrepancies.
