Common use of District Committees/Work Groups Clause in Contracts

District Committees/Work Groups. In order to maintain open communication and provide opportunities for the Association to advise and consult with the District on issues as the exclusive representative the Association will be permitted to appoint up to two (2) Bargaining Unit representatives to serve on active District committees/work groups, without regard to the title of the committee/work group, which provide recommendations to the Board for changes to policies or procedures of the District which policies or procedures directly relate to the working conditions of employees in the Bargaining Unit. The District reserves the exclusive right to determine whether to form and/or eliminate any District committees or workgroups without regard to title.
