Distances, vectors etc. While working on this note I noticed that there was a fair amount of scope for proliferation of various types of distances and limits on distances: YY→ Z — the greatest value outstanding out of the distances that Y has communicated for itself to Z — being one example. This annex helps me to keep track of these, principally so that the examples used for the purpose of definition in 2 remain relevant, but also to spot possibly unnecessary variants.
