Distance Learning Programs. In accordance with California Department of Education (“CDE”) and LEA guidance, Distance Learning Programs during an extended school closure [defined as those exceeding three (3) consecutive school days or any combination of alternative days/weeks should a hybrid program involving a combination of physical school attendance and Distance Learning Programs be implemented], shall be provided. Such programs shall be defined as the provision of educational services through internet, telephone, wireless, paper packets, and/or other technologies to facilitate the provision of and access to educational services without direct physical contact or physical proximity. For related services and instruction provided through virtual platforms, the CONTRACTOR will be committed to protecting the privacy of each student’s learning, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

Distance Learning Programs. In accordance with the California Department of Education (“CDE”) guidance and SELPA and/or LEA consultation, CONTRACTOR shall provide a Distance Learning Program during an extended school closure. Such programs shall be defined as the provision of educational services through internet, telephone, wireless, paper packets, and/or other technologies to facilitate the provision of and access to educational services without direct physical contact or physical proximity. For related services and instruction provided through virtual platforms, the CONTRACTOR will be committed to protecting the privacy each student’s learning, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

Related to Distance Learning Programs

  • Distance Learning Distance learning is a teaching modality whereby all or the majority of instruction and student interaction occurs via electronic media or equivalent mechanisms with the Faculty and students physically separated from each other. This includes courses that are fully online as well as Live online, hybrid, flipped, computer-based courses, and other alternate delivery methods.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course.   • E-LEARNING a) E-Learning is defined as a method of credit course delivery that relies on communication between students and teachers through the internet or any other digital platform and does not require students to be face-to-face with each other or with their teacher. Online learning shall have the same meaning as E-Learning.

  • TECHNICAL EVALUATION (a) Detailed technical evaluation shall be carried out by Purchase Committee pursuant to conditions in the tender document to determine the substantial responsiveness of each tender. For this clause, the substantially responsive bid is one that conforms to all the eligibility and terms and condition of the tender without any material deviation. The Institute’s determination of bid’s responsiveness is to be based on the contents of the bid itself without recourse to extrinsic evidence.
