Common use of Dispatch Control Clause in Contracts

Dispatch Control. Hours of work will be eight (8) hour shifts Monday to Sunday. Hours of operation from Monday to Friday shall be 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A shift differential of one dollar ($1.00) per hour shall apply for regular hours worked between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. inclusive from Monday to Friday and all regular hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. A shift differential will be paid in addition to the regular rates only and will not apply when premium rates are paid, except for a normal paid holiday shift. All time worked after the completion of a regularly scheduled shift shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate. Control Dispatcher rate of pay will be in accordance to classification HC of Schedule ‘A’ of the Craft Collective Agreement.
