Disconnect Device. Seller shall provide a manually operated disconnect device which provides a visible break to separate Facility from Company System. Such disconnect device shall be lockable in the OPEN position and be readily accessible to Company personnel at all times.
Disconnect Device. Customer shall furnish and install, on its side of the bi‐directional metering equipment a safety disconnect device capable of fully disconnecting and isolating the Facility from the City’s electric distribution system. The disconnect device shall be located adjacent to the City’s bi‐directional metering equipment or other location approved by the City and shall be of the visible break type in a metal enclosure that can be secured by a padlock. The disconnect device shall be accessible to the City’s personnel at all times and shall conform to National Electric Code Standards. The City shall have the right to disconnect the Facility from the City’s electric distribution system when necessary to maintain safe and reliable electrical operating conditions or if in the City’s sole judgment, the Facility at any time adversely affects the operation of the City’s electric distribution system or the quality and reliability of the City’s service to other customers. The City shall have the right to require that the Facility remain disconnected until such time as the City determines, in the sole discretion, that the condition(s) requiring the disconnection have ended or been corrected. The City shall have the option of requiring ongoing testing of disconnection equipment.
Disconnect Device. A safety manual disconnect switch of the visible load break type shall be installed by the customer. The disconnect switch shall be visible to and readily accessible by Utility personnel. The switch shall be capable of being locked in the open position and shall prevent the generator from supplying power to the distribution system.
Disconnect Device. A Disconnect Switch or a rack-out circuit breaker acceptable to APS to electrically isolate the Customer’s GF from the APS System.
Disconnect Device. A safety disconnect switch shall be installed that is visible to and readily accessible by Utility personnel. The switch shall be capable of being locked in the open position and shall prevent the Distributed Generation Facility from supplying power to the Distribution System. The disconnect device shall be physically located for ease of access by the Utility personnel.
Disconnect Device a. Customers generating facility produces 10 Kilowatts or less that are inverter based: The Customer has the option to install, on its side of the bi-directional metering equipment a safety disconnect device capable of fully disconnecting and isolating the facility from the City’s electric system. In the event that no disconnect switch is installed, the customer’s electric service may be disconnected by the City entirely if the generating facility must be physically disconnected from the utility’s distribution system. If The City determines that there is a problem on the bi-directional equipment or the City needs to test the equipment the City has the right to disconnect the entire service to the residence until such equipment is repaired and inspected and determined to be functioning properly. The meter base main breaker box or bi-directional safety disconnect must be marked with an approved engraved or metallic placard, showing the location of disconnect and batteries that are red in color and attached in a secure manner. If at any time the placard is not legible or becomes loose or falls off the Customer will replace it within two weeks or the City may disconnect the service until it is repaired to the City’s satisfaction.
Disconnect Device. The Producer shall provide, install, own and maintain the interconnection disconnect device required by Section B.2.b at a location readily accessible to PG&E. Such device shall normally be located near PG&E's meter or meters for sole operation by PG&E. The interconnection disconnect device and its precise location shall be specified by PG&E. At the Producer's option and request, PG&E will provide, install, own and maintain the disconnect device on PG&E's system as special facilities in accordance with Section F.
Disconnect Device. An interconnection customer of the City must install and maintain a manual disconnect switch which will disconnect the generating facility from the utility’s distribution system. The disconnect switch must be a lockable, load-break switch that plainly indicates whether it is in the open or closed position. The Disconnect switch must be readily accessible to the City at all times and located within 10 feet of the utility’s meter. Must have a red 5x7 permanent plaque to indicate alternate power source.
Disconnect Device. The design, installation, operation and maintenance of the RES shall comply with BELCO approved control and protection equipment, which shall include a manual load-break disconnect device (“Disconnect Device”). The Disconnect Device shall be lockable in the open position and accessible by BELCO as a means of electrically isolating the RES from the Distribution System and to establish working clearance for maintenance and repair work, in accordance with accepted electrical practice. The Disconnect Device shall be furnished and installed by the Customer and is to be connected between the RES and the Distribution System. The Disconnect Device shall be located in the immediate vicinity of the electric meter at the main service entrance or may be located at an alternate location which is easily accessible by BELCO personnel on a 24-hour basis. Where the Disconnect Device is in an alternative location, a placard shall be placed at the electric meter at the main service entrance identifying the exact location of the Disconnect Device. The Disconnect Device shall be clearly labelled “RES Disconnect”.
