Deviations from Component Maintenance Manual Sample Clauses

The 'Deviations from Component Maintenance Manual' clause defines the conditions under which maintenance or repair work may depart from the procedures specified in the official Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). Typically, this clause outlines the approval process required for any deviations, such as obtaining written consent from the manufacturer or a regulatory authority, and may specify documentation or record-keeping obligations. Its core function is to ensure that any non-standard maintenance is properly authorized and controlled, thereby maintaining safety and compliance while allowing flexibility when standard procedures are impractical or unavailable.
