Determining Average Hours. Determining average hours for each employee's level of health, leave, pay, and other benefits shall be based on the average hours worked, excluding field trips and extra work hours. The district shall calculate average hours based on the District mapping system and include 15 minutes pre-trip and 10 minutes post trip time. Staff shall continue to punch in at the beginning of their shift and punch out at the end of their shift. The district/union retains the right to review average hours throughout the school year, as needed. Documented issues that require staff to work past their normal scheduled time will be paid accordingly.
