Designating Choice Clause Samples
The "Designating Choice" clause establishes a mechanism for one or more parties to select from specified options or alternatives within a contract. Typically, this clause outlines the process by which a party must communicate their selection, such as providing written notice within a certain timeframe, and may specify what happens if no choice is made. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes by formally documenting how and when choices are to be made, thereby allocating decision-making authority and reducing ambiguity in contractual obligations.
