Designated Groups. For the purposes of its overall equity and diversity initiatives, the City has identified women, Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, members of visible minority groups and gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans-gendered (GLTB) individuals. The selection of these groups does not preclude the possibility of addressing systemic discrimination for other identifiable groups.
Designated Groups. For the purposes of equity, diversity, and inclusion, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ University shall identify the fol- lowing five (5) groups as equity-deserving (hereafter “the designated groups”): (a) Women (b) Indigenous persons (c) Disabled persons (d) Racialized persons (e) Sex, Sexual, and/or Gender minoritized persons.
Designated Groups. The Parties recognize that differing career patterns may be more common among members belonging to the designated groups. Members may choose to articulate ways in which ex- periences or events have influenced their career path, including factors resulting from their belonging in one (1) or more of the designated groups. When articulated by a Member, these differences shall be taken into account in writing in assessing qualifications, as set out in this Article, of members of these groups.
Designated Groups. For the purposes of this agreement “designated groups” include those identified under the Federal Employment Equity Act as being disadvantaged in employment: ▪ Women; ▪ Aboriginal people; ▪ People with disabilities; ▪ People of colour (referred in the Federal Employment Equity Act as “Visible minorities”). In addition to: ▪ Queer and trans-identified (namely lesbians, gays, bisexuals, two-spirited people, trans- gendered people, transsexuals and inter-sexed) people and; ▪ People of poor and/or working poor backgrounds.
