Common use of Design Two Clause in Contracts

Design Two. AT&T will provide fiber cable to the last entrance (or SBC-AMERITECH designated) manhole at the SBC-AMERITECH Tandem or End Office switch. SBC-AMERITECH shall make all necessary preparations to receive and to allow and enable AT&T to deliver fiber optic facilities into that manhole. AT&T will provide a sufficient length of Optical Fire Resistant (“OFR”) cable for SBC- AMERITECH to pull the fiber cable through the SBC-AMERITECH cable vault and terminate on the SBC-AMERITECH fiber distribution frame (“FDF”) in SBC- AMERITECH’s office. AT&T shall deliver and maintain such strands wholly at its own expense up to the POI. SBC-AMERITECH shall take the fiber from the manhole and terminate it inside SBC-AMERITECH’s office on the FDF at SBC-AMERITECH’s expense. In this case the POI shall be at the SBC-AMERITECH designated manhole location.
