Design Information Sample Clauses

The Design Information clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the provision, accuracy, and use of design documents and data in a project. It typically outlines what types of design information must be supplied, who is responsible for preparing and updating these documents, and how changes or errors should be communicated and rectified. For example, it may specify that the contractor must provide detailed drawings before construction begins, or that the client must review and approve design submissions within a set timeframe. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have access to accurate and up-to-date design information, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings, errors, and delays during the project.
