Common use of Design-Builder’s General Indemnification Clause in Contracts

Design-Builder’s General Indemnification. 14.3.1 Design-Builder, to the fullest extent permitted by Law, shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend Owner, Lenders, Lenders’ Agent, and their successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees and agents (“Owner Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all losses, costs, damages, injuries, liabilities, claims, demands, penalties, interest and causes of action, including without limitation attorney’s fees (collectively, the “Damages”) for bodily injury, sickness or death, and property damage or destruction (other than to the Work itself) to the extent resulting from the negligent or intentionally wrongful acts or omissions of Design-Builder, Design Consultants, Subcontractors, anyone employed directly or indirectly by any of them or anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable.
