Description of the MNES Plan. The IAR must include a detailed description of the MNES Plan prepared by BHP Billiton Iron Ore, including (but not limited to): • How the MNES Plan has been developed. • The regional context (social and environmental) of the MNES Plan. • The legal and administrative framework for the implementation of the MNES Plan. This should include a description of: o Legal standing of the MNES Plan. o The relationship of the MNES Plan to other relevant policies, plans, guidelines, commitments, regulations and legislation. o The basis of land and asset tenure. o The management and approval arrangements of BHP Billiton Iron Ore and the person(s) responsible for the implementation of the MNES Plan. • Description of the actions and classes of actions that are the subject of the MNES Plan. This includes the short, medium and long term actions proposed.
