Common use of Deprecation Announcement Clause in Contracts

Deprecation Announcement. In the event that HiveMQ intends to discontinue or make backwards incompatible changes to the HiveMQ Platform, HiveMQ will notify Customer of such intention in advance. HiveMQ will then use commercially reasonable efforts to continue to operate those affected versions, features or functionalities without the noted changes for at least three months after that announcement, unless (as HiveMQ determines in its reasonable good faith judgment) (i) required by law or third-party relationship (including if there is a change in applicable law or relationship), or (ii) such continued operation could create a security risk or substantial economic or material technical burden.
