Common use of DELETED WORK Clause in Contracts

DELETED WORK. When the Change Order deletes Work from Design-Builder’s scope, the amount of the reduction in the Contract Price will be based upon all of the following associated with the deleted work: the cost of Materials, labor and Equipment costs, and overhead and profit. VPRA will be entitled to credits for mark-up for profit and overhead in the amounts provided in Exhibit K. Documented cancellation and restocking charges may be considered in calculating the costs of deleted Work and be subtracted from the Contract Price deduction for the deleted Work.
